A kart is a real race car that can be used to compete at entry level or at the national level or racing. Kart racers compete with famous racecar drivers at national races such as Supernats. The kart requires as much maintenance as any other racecar. Karts go through the same research as a racecar, using computer data-acquisition systems and logging dyno time.
